Who We Are

KAYA is a BIPOC and woman-owned small business who shares a deep passion for organized and functional living. The word ‘KAYA’ (pronounced KAH-yuh) is a pseudo-verb in the Tagalog (Filipino) language that describes ‘the ability to do something’. We believe that we have the exceptional ability to transform your home or office to functional spaces, and use sustainable systems that meet your personal needs and lifestyle.

As a first generation Filipina from Queens, NY, I was raised in a small apartment and acquired the skills of maximizing the use of any space available, while making it visibly and aesthetically pleasing. Today, as an educator and mom, I recognize firsthand how some spaces or 'someday' projects can get away from you. It's what inspires me to share my expertise and services to help refresh your spaces that are personalized to your needs.
